ROLE

Gameplay & Dialogue Sound Designer

ABOUT

In Killer Frequency by Team 17, I was responsible for designing the sound for most objects and interactions within the game. This involved crafting unique audio elements that enhanced the immersion and atmosphere. I also worked extensively on the dialogue scenes, going through the scripts to create sound design that brought these intense and informative moments to life. Many of these scenes revolve around the tense conversations between the radio show host(the player) and callers, who are attempting to fend off the notorious killer known as the Whistling Man. These interactions were crucial for building suspense and driving the narrative forward.

The Reviews

This project has received strong praise from both players and critics, earning an impressive score of 82 on PC and 78 on PlayStation 5. Personally, I believe the immersive sound design, which plays a vital role in the game’s atmosphere, combined with its engaging narrative and 80's style music, has helped solidify its reputation. These high scores reflect the game's success in blending horror, suspense, and interactive storytelling into a gripping experience across platforms.
